The Oracle Bleu (Blue Oracle) is the result of a collaboration between Didier Doryan, a clairvoyant, and Sylvie Breysse, a painter.
This oracle has 73 cards that take us into a gentle space and let our intuition run free.

The Oracle Bleu (sometimes called the Blue Oracle) is made up of season cards and character cards, just as the Oracle Gé is.

To my mind, it’s one of the best oracles I’ve had the chance to work with in my esoteric practice, along with the Belline Oracle and the Oracle de la Triade.

With that introduction made, let’s look closely at the 73 cards of the Oracle Bleu, so you have the tools you need to master it properly.

Oracle Bleu card meanings: interpreting each card

0. Light: this card announces that you’re entering a period when everything will become clear. It’s a revealing moment, when everything shows itself in a better light. The sun is also implied by this card.

1. The Man: this card speaks of a man’s support at your side. Whatever the case, a man will come into your life to support you at this time. Singles, take note: a romantic encounter isn’t far off!

2. The Woman: this card is the counterpart of The Man. It announces that a woman will step in at your side to support you. Singles, take note here too: a romantic encounter is on the horizon!

3. The Child: this card shows that you’re beginning something new, and it’s linked to freshness and innocence as well. It’s a first sketch, the first foundations taking hold. It can also point to a possible pregnancy, or to work involving children.

4. Work: it’s through work that you’ll win your case. Naturally, this card speaks of work, of efforts to make, of a professional activity. Through work, you can also hope for a real improvement in your standard of living.

5. News: this card, which the Belline Oracle also has, announces news, usually imminent, that you may or may not have been waiting for. It can come as a letter, a call, an email… It’s a good time for communication: ask, and you’ll find out.

6. Love: this illustrated card reflects sensuality, love, and physical closeness. Here it speaks of a strong romantic encounter, but one where the physical side may come first. Something very powerful is on its way. It can also mean a romantic encounter, or a couple growing closer, with the goal of becoming one.

7. The Temple: with its hints of withdrawal, this card announces a period of reflection and meditation, a certain need to think back on past events. This clear step back will be necessary to move certain things forward and so face the future more serenely. It’s also an enclosed place where silence may reign: a hospital, a place of worship…

8. The Patriarch: given the size of the elephant embodying the Patriarch, you’ll be able to count on the help and support of an important person, not to say an “imposing” one, given their position, both for you and for others. Be careful: this elephant can help you just as easily as it can put a major obstacle in the way of what you wanted to undertake. The obstacle can also be within you: lack of confidence, negative thoughts…

9. Others: this period will be marked by many exchanges with others. It will be a time of communication and openness…

10. The Tree of Life: what you started is ripening. Your efforts are only a few steps away from taking shape and coming true. You let time do its work, and now you can reap what you’ve sown. This is a time of maturity and building. The Tree is also linked to family: happiness is there, since the Tree is bursting with life.

11. The Conqueror: it’s up to you to take the plunge and win new ground, the way Robin Hood would. Make the effort, go for it, fight, and you’ll succeed. Your strength must stay gentle, never violent, to bring you what you’re hoping for.

12. Sterility: you feel shut in, blocked. You have the feeling of standing still. The road to your future is obstructed, you can no longer find the light, and perhaps the desire is missing too. A sense of weariness is very much present. You’re in a passive phase.

13. Transformation: you’ve reached a dead end. It’s the end of something. Once you realize you’ve come to the end, you’ll be able to take the steps needed to open a new chapter in your story.

14. Revolution: you’ll have to dare, and cross certain limits you had set for yourself. It may surprise you, but this precise moment in your life could open up opportunities you never suspected.

15. Power: the play of mirrors implies a relationship with someone else that may prove illusory. There’s a strong attraction, but only for a time, purely physical, rooted in that first contact, and not revealing anything deep or lasting for the future. You feel shaken, unsettled by something that almost falls on you out of nowhere.

16. Illusion: as its name suggests, this card shows the other side of the coin: you were mistaken, or someone deceived you. This period is marked by a necessary disillusionment. You’ve focused too much on yourself, and it’s time to see it. This realization will bring doubts and leave you unsettled, but it’s necessary for some deep soul-searching. You’ve only looked at the first face of the cube. Superficiality may also be implied.

17. Hope: this card can bring you a certain protection and renewed hope if you’ve been disappointed. Let go, go with the flow: a small inner voice will guide you. The future looks brighter. Don’t try to control everything.

18. Gestation: this card inevitably announces that something is getting under way. The querent may also hope for a pregnancy. It’s a period when everything is gradually settling into place, at its own pace.

19. The Celestial Marriage: duality is at stake here. This card mainly announces a marriage, a collaboration, a partnership… It’s the union of two partners (at least two, for a collaboration). You’re linking your destiny to someone else’s.

20. The Choice: as this card makes clear, you’ll inevitably have to make a choice. It’s up to you to make the best one by carefully weighing the paths open to you. A period of change for the future may be coming.

21. Festivities: a delightful moment is coming: parties, gatherings around a table, moments shared together. Your social life is favored.

22. The Message: this card is rather hard to pin down, since several meanings are possible and should be weighed when answering your question. It’s a period when you’ll find answers to your questions. But it can also mean that someone will speak on your behalf (a mediator), or that someone will bring you advice worth hearing: your inner voice, for instance! Listen to it more closely.

23. Abundance: this period promises to be fruitful and prosperous. Heaven is helping you, so give back in return. It’s a favorable time for any gain, material or otherwise.

24. Attachment: you’ll be in the company of someone who will help you. Resemblance is at stake here, physical or mental. The principle is to copy one situation onto another. So it may be wise to ask yourself about this need to repeat the same pattern. This attachment may prove harmful.

25. Sacrifice: this is a hard card to see come up. The querent is usually quite shaken by it, since it stands for “sacrifice”. What it speaks of is tinged with negativity: a sacrifice to make, something to give up. It can also mean a backlash. The present situation is likely to be difficult for the querent. The knife on the card can also be read as a cut, a wound, or even surgery.

26. Covetousness: jealousy is an ugly flaw! Something is troubling you, and seduction may be in play. The body also reveals a goal to reach. This card symbolizes something you would like to attain.

27. Studies: this card concerns something written and/or intellectual. The period will be marked by intense work, and also by paperwork to fill out.

28. The Law: the legal field is present. It may refer to a person who embodies Justice (a lawyer, a bailiff, a judge) or to legal proceedings that are getting under way. Check your accounts and everything you’ve done, since it may also mean that your actions come back to bite you. What you did wrong in the past may turn against you.

29. Intrigue: you’ll need to be wary and pay closer attention to something shady. Be more careful. Don’t trust too quickly, or you may suffer the consequences. What is hidden, concealed, in the shadows may bring you some trouble. Clean house. Beware of false friends.

30. The House: the home itself, or an enclosed place, is represented here. Seen from another angle, this card can also speak of your inner self. An event related to a “physical” place, or concerning your inner self, will be on the agenda.

31. Inspiration: this card is very positive, since it inspires harmony and beauty. All is for the best in the best of all possible worlds. You couldn’t hope for better. The period is very positive for you and will bring you good things. You feel good, and it shows!

32. Indecision: as its name suggests, you’re entering a period marked by doubt and indecision. You no longer quite know where you stand, or where you’re heading. Take stock, and ask yourself whether what’s happening right now brings you the satisfaction you were hoping for.

33. The Guide: a person you pay will give you the right advice for your situation. This advice may be legal, administrative, or about taking care of yourself. Through their sound advice, this person may have a positive impact on your life.

34. Changes: this card speaks of transformations in your life, through changes that will affect your future (mainly a move, a job transfer…). These changes may come quickly (in the coming months: in that case, use the season cards). Take stock.

35. Travel: the period will be marked by movement, trips, and travel. It may also refer to astral travel and to your vivid imagination. You’re also advised to clarify this card with the season cards, which will give you a time frame and a hint about the destination. For example, if you draw the Winter card, it suggests you’ll need to bundle up so you don’t catch a cold.

36. The Soulmate: love is the main theme. The romantic relationship is very strong, or a friendship rests on deep feelings of loyalty and affection. It can also refer to an engaged couple, a couple with very good foundations for their shared future. We can also read this card in a context other than love, namely work, through a well-thought-out collaboration, though one where love may also mix with work.

37. Serenity: calm, gentleness, and serenity are present here. After careful thought and reflection, the time may have come to take the plunge.

38. Health: if you’re going through a difficult time with your body, this card invites you to follow the advice of the professionals who look after you and to lean on a competent team. It points to a return of vitality after troubles that were more or less hard to bear. Let the people around you support you while you take care of yourself, even if that can feel like a lot.

39. Disruption: this card is generally not very positive, since the young man pictured doesn’t look very friendly. Obstacles are to be expected. It can also mean a dip in energy. There are constraints, events you perhaps couldn’t foresee. The blood on the man’s torn T-shirt can also call for caution and vigilance about a possible assault or accident. Nothing will go as planned. That doesn’t mean a disaster is on the way, but take the lead in protecting yourself, whatever happens. Complications are to be expected.

40. The Desert: you’re at a dead end, blocked. This dead end may come from past mistakes. You’re facing a lack of communication, a silence that weighs on you. Some soul-searching is possible.

41. The Initiate: a very positive upheaval is possible here. You may gain a certain recognition. A still somewhat mysterious event is about to happen. You’ll be rewarded for past work.

42. The Benevolent One: a female figure is symbolized here. She is usually your mother, or someone who embodies motherhood, kindness, and love, someone who helps you day to day and supports you in all circumstances. You can count on this woman’s protection.

43. Commerce: money is at stake here. It usually means a financial transaction, or trade in the broad sense.

44. Progress: you have every chance of seeing your current situation improve. You’re heading for the tops of the pyramids, no doubt before reaching Nirvana.

45. Separation: the separation may be temporary (a distance that won’t last), or final, through a breakup. This breakup may come from arguments that are too frequent. In any case, distance is seen here as an obstacle.

46. Fidelity: you’ll be able to count on the help, support, and backing of someone who will show you great loyalty. Thank this person when the time comes.

47. Sorrow: the tears of these figures are not a good omen. They may come from sadness, or from deep grief bringing great disappointment. You’ll have to pick yourself up after an event that will hurt you deeply.

48. The Notary: this card concerns everything related to the law. It may mean signing a contract, putting things in order in the eyes of the law.

49. The Arts: as the title of this card suggests, the Arts are symbolized here. Your artistic side will come out. Artistic and cultural projects are about to be born.

50. The City: the City stands for activity, intensity, and so on. It can also mean a specific place that embodies the powers of your town: city hall, or any other building in your town.

51. The Countryside: you’re no doubt feeling a clear need to get back to nature, to breathe, and to step back. This card also symbolizes any other area linked to nature, that is, the trades and spaces connected with it…

52. The Sea: the Sea indicates that you’ll spend your vacation by the sea, or it refers to a person who lives near the sea. Any place with water can also enter the interpretation.

53. The Mountain: you need to step back and take a vacation. A mountainous place is represented here.

Now we come to the season cards, which give a time frame for your questions.

54. Spring: this card is used to pinpoint a season. In another case, this card in your spread can also point to a “flourishing”, enriching period.

55. Summer: the summer season is represented. Otherwise, it’s about “warming up” your heart, your married life, or going on vacation.

56. Autumn: autumn is in question here. In that case, it suggests it may be time to rekindle the flame in your relationship, which has run a little out of steam. The fable of the ant and the grasshopper comes to mind: this card may also be telling you to save.

57. Winter: Winter is suggested. Otherwise, Winter stands for frozen relationships, a standstill, an icy period that would do well to be “warmed up”.

Next come other cards to complete our quick study of the Oracle Bleu.

58. Duplication: Others are present here. Crowds and people are represented. Success may be in store. Duplication also shows that you’re trying to be everywhere at once. Learn to rest.

59. The Gift: you’ll be given a gift, a present…

60. The Young Girl: a young girl may come into your life. Otherwise, the young girl also symbolizes freshness and novelty…

61. The Young Man: the young man, too, may have a role to play in your life, just as with card 60. Or he may symbolize your “resourceful” side.

Then come the cards related to the 4 elements.

62. Water: your emotions are close to the surface. Your intuition seems to be waking up, and the period is favorable for contact with the beyond and for communicating with your Guardian Angel. Water is also the symbol of the water signs of the zodiac.

63. Air: Air shows a period of communication. You’ll be helped in your exchanges with others. Air also embodies certain zodiac signs.

64. Earth: Earth announces that you have everything you need to build your new project. Earth also represents certain zodiac signs.

65. Fire: the period will be marked by fire, and so by intense activity. Fire also represents certain zodiac signs.

Once again, a few more cards of the Oracle Bleu take us through different worlds.

66. The Collapsed World: this card isn’t especially positive. It shows that the querent is starting over from scratch after a project that was “ruined”. So the time has come to develop a new project. Disappointment may be present, but time always sorts things out. The querent needs to regain confidence in the future in order to build something new.

67. The Mineral World: things are gradually taking shape. Everything is coming together and forming something.

68. The Plant World: you’re going through a time when your emotions are close to the surface. Sensitivity is very much present. The period will be favorable for new, positive things. Good news is on its way.

69. The Animal World: you long for freedom the way an animal does, to live without necessarily having limits. Epicureanism could be another word for it.

And the last cards of the Oracle Bleu.

70. The First Step: this card can be taken literally: walking, travel, hiking… any sport of that kind. Or, on the contrary, it may mean a fresh start, an impulse to give in order to begin a new chapter of your life.

71. Night: the veil falls and the light has gone out. It often means the end of something. The Night may also need to be taken into account in your interpretation.

72. Elevation: this card is very strong in the spiritual realm. You can count on the protection of higher spirits. Your spiritual life is nourished and very positive. You’re entering a new spiritual momentum. Your soul feeds on your spiritual teachings, which you should pursue further. You have real gifts for it. A karmic trial may arise, but you’ll come out of it stronger.

What about you,
what do you think?

A question, an experience, another way of seeing things… The discovery continues in the conversation.
