Protection Jewelry

Wide-open eyes, suns, an Eye of Horus: our protection jewelry borrows its motifs from the oldest amulets. The tawny tones of tiger’s eye sit beside the shifting blue of labradorite and the dense black of onyx, three stones it’s nice to feel against your skin. Everyone gets to choose what shape their vigilance takes, discreet or plainly visible.

The Kinthia notebook

A stone, a style,
your story.

A few pointers to find what feels like you.

Hold your course, set your limits

In esotericism, protecting yourself has nothing to do with withdrawing. It’s more about setting your limits, holding your course, and knowing what you will or won’t accept. Long before us, people wore amulets for this, and this page carries on that spirit. These pieces promise nothing (a stone replaces neither caution nor good advice): they bring an intention to mind.

Three stones on the front line

Tiger’s eye dominates here. At Kinthia, we credit it with nerve and a sense of standing up for yourself, so you move forward by your own convictions. Labradorite, whose colors change with the angle, is credited with protection, intuition, and renewal: staying on your path without shutting the door on the unexpected. Obsidian, a deep black, is tied more to introspection, the look you take at yourself before acting.

Eyes, suns, and the Eye of Horus

Symbols matter as much as stones. The eye, it’s said, turns unwanted looks away. The Eye of Horus, an amulet from ancient Egypt, speaks of what becomes whole again. The sun, for its part, comes back every morning, and people have often counted on it to keep watch.

Ring, necklace, or bracelet, and giving one

A ring gets looked at often, and suits anyone who wants to keep their intention in sight. A necklace or pendant stays against you, more discreet under a collar. A bracelet follows your gestures. To give one, start from the person rather than the stone: their favorite color, their style, what you’d like to wish them.
