Natural Stone Protection Pendants

For a protection pendant, should you choose a stone or a symbol? Very often both, with an obsidian or a tiger’s eye set at the heart of an engraved motif, unless the metal alone carries the design, with no stone at all. From the most discreet to the most visible, everyone can find their own way to take shelter.

A knot that won’t come undone

The witch’s knot appears on several pendants: four interlaced loops, drawn in a single line. People read protection in it, but also continuity, the idea that what you want to preserve stays connected. Alongside it, spread wings, stars, or moons round out the motifs.

A steel chain, most of the time

Most hang from a stainless steel chain, sturdy and easy to live with. Others favor a rope cord or a braided cord, more natural, and can be worn by a man or a woman alike. A few resin pendants enclose stones and copper, a rawer way to wear protection.
