Natural Stone Double-Strand Necklaces

Usually, wearing two necklaces at once takes a bit of skill to keep them from tangling, and a double-strand necklace spares you the trouble: its two strands hold together, at just the right distance. One often carries stone beads, the other a thin chain, sometimes with a motif. The layered look, with nothing to arrange.

your story.

A few pointers to find what feels like you.

Two lengths, one clasp

The principle is simple: two strands of different lengths, joined by the same clasp. The shorter one sits high, the second falls a little lower, and the gap between them stays the same whatever you do. The two strands move together, so they don’t cross or tangle over the course of the day.

One strand of beads, one of metal

The designs gathered here pair a strand of beads, in a single stone or mixed colors, with a gold-tone chain carrying a small motif: a heart, an eye, or a moon. The stones change from one design to the next, warm or cooler, to match the chain or contrast with it.

What to wear it with

A double-strand necklace fills an open neckline on its own, with no need for other necklaces. It works well with a plain top, less so with a high collar that would crush its two strands. With just one clasp to open, it goes on as quickly as a single necklace. As a gift, it has the advantage of being a complete set all by itself.
