    Angel wings, or fir trees

    The seraphim, those six-winged angels, lent their name to this stone for the pale fibers that run through it in close-set feathers. Come closer, though: on this deep-forest green, the lines climb in chevrons, and it’s fir trees that appear, seen from the sky. Seraphinite is said to favor the lifting of the spirit, and that rare harmony with yourself. Between wing and forest, everyone will find their own image.
