The face bears a flower in which every petal is a leaf, with its midrib and fine lines, all turned toward the edge. At the center sits the tiger’s eye, small, the color of strong tea, crossed by a streak of light that moves with your hand. A stone of protection first, then of courage, tiger’s eye is also credited with a little luck. Petals that will never wilt.<\/p>\n

The face reaches almost down to the knuckle, and its smooth edges shine brightly. At the back, the band stays open, in nickel-free gold-tone stainless steel. We christened it Grapte, Greek for “written” or “drawn,” since its metal is drawn on from one end to the other. Alone on the hand, it takes center stage.
